"From 40-year-old vines planted at the Butler’s Grant Vineyard, this stylish Chardo was aged in French barriques (20% was new oak). This has a pretty, elegant, nose of white flowers, fresh pear, salinity, crisp apple, citrus and a veil of fine oak spice. It turns richer on the palate with ripe stone fruits, a creamy texture, a touch of flint and saline minerality, toasted spices with finesse and flair on a long, lifted finish."
